Health & Wellness
Our Health and Wellness Program is dedicated to empowering the BIPOC community by providing essential initiatives, resources and tools to support their overall well-being. This initiative is organized into two distinct divisions:
-
Mental Health
As many are aware, there exists a significant stigma surrounding mental health within the BIPOC community. While we are making progress each day, substantial work remains to be done. The SB Wellness Foundation is dedicated to addressing these challenges by offering solutions, providing invaluable resources, and delivering education to our community. Additionally, the foundation actively facilitates outreach initiatives to further support and engage individuals in need.
-
Fitness & Nutrition
Fitness and nutrition play a vital role in enhancing overall quality of life. Unfortunately, many individuals within the BIPOC community face significant barriers to accessing essential resources that support their health and well-being. Our organization is dedicated to addressing these disparities. Through a range of initiatives, events, and programs, we strive to engage the community and provide the necessary resources to empower individuals in their pursuit of better health.
Community Field Day
We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Community Field Day, taking place in April 2025! This exciting event will focus on fun, health, and wellness, featuring a variety of activities for all participants. Attendees can look forward to engaging sports activities, a DJ, food vendors, and more.
Additionally, the event will provide valuable networking opportunities, allowing families to connect with vendors and access resources, tools, and giveaways aimed at promoting a positive quality of life.
We are currently seeking potential partners, sponsors, and media collaborations. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out to us at (404) 548-8198 or via email at info@sbwellnessfoundation.org. We look forward to seeing you there!

Therapy Scholarship Program
“Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.”
Our foundation is committed to the belief that quality, evidence-based mental health care should be accessible to everyone. Through our therapy scholarship program, we offer reduced-cost mental health services to qualifying applicants facing financial difficulties. Each scholarship recipient is paired with a licensed, evidence-based psychotherapist affiliated with our organization to ensure they receive appropriate care.
#SincerelyShanae Mental Health Podcast

We feature experts who share their knowledge on various relevant topics, alongside guests who provide personal accounts of their mental health journeys. Additionally, we offer informational episodes that equip our audience with tools, interventions, and resources aimed at enhancing their quality of life and overall well-being.
